letters.

from my never-more-than-once-a-week newsletter which you can absolutely join.

I know what you’re thinking

why in the world would you post these if the whole point of this site is to collect email addresses for a newsletter? why can’t i just not get emails and come here to read this on my own?

and it’s a valid question.

thing is, you can absolutely do that.

but i think that sometimes, there’s value in committing an email address to something. there’s a tiny amount of skin in the game. i’m not going to spam you, but i am going to make you a promise: i’m going to send you something no more often than once per week that i have thought quite a bit about and put some time into, and it will simply show up in your inbox. you can read if you want.

if you are in that list, know that i wrote it for you. those coming here are just reading it.
